    1. hey! i went to the cottage (it's my grandmother's), and it was fun but hard work + crazy allergy time, haha.

and thanks! the polaroid is from toronto, down an alleyway that only exists behind bars now; the lady was (ofcourse) removed, being deemed 'graffiti', sigh.

  4. Oh man, really? That's such a shame when councils do that. I remember when I lived in Shepherd's Bush in West London a Banksy appeared overnight on a wall in the middle of a large roundabout. It was ace, but the council saw it as graffiti so covered it over with the ugliest square of board ever. The Banksy would have brought a lot more pleasure to people than a horrible old bit of board nailed to the wall that's for sure! Anyway, glad you had a fun time - how lovely to have a cottage to go to. :)

    1. seriously! what is wrong with these people?! if it's a tag, i get it...but art? why not let it be? i mean, they spend millions on the ugliest, tackiest 'art' ever to put in public spaces, and then they cover up what people would truly love. i can only imagine how much your council is kicking itself for covering up a 'tourist attraction', haha.

as for the cottage, it's bittersweet - we were up to clean it up+out, as we have to sell it. i'm hoping we'll still have one more summer in it though...
